Hi. I am Nicole, a Personal Trainer in Scotland. I like to think of myself as a female Bear Grylls, but think glamping rather than camping and snacking on chocolate rather than on freshly caught bugs! I try to challenge myself and experience as much as I can, (although I won’t be surfing off the Scottish coast in winter again any time soon!). Being outdoors is what is really important to me. I love hiking up mountains, breathing in the fresh air and taking in the incredible views. I love how it makes me feel strong and gives me a sense of achievement and the desire to keep on doing more. I spend a lot of my time training women of all ages and sizes, many of whom when they start out, are in a fitness rut and have lost confidence in themselves. One thing that I have found is that setting a goal can really help them stay focused and be more successful in the long-term. The goal might be getting fit enough to run a 5k, or hike up a mountain with friends, or it might be losing some weight before a family holiday so they can do more with their children. This is one of the reasons that I set up Warrior Princess Training, as I realised that often we just need a goal and the support and guidance behind us, to be really successful. The way I see it, fitness is not about slogging away for hours in a gym, or for getting the ‘perfect’ body. It is about being able to do really awesome things and feeling great about ourselves. Plus, having a ready-made tribe to share in the adventure and give you all the guidance and support you need makes it even more enjoyable! Fancy joining me?!
